What we serve
Our pillars
Seasonal & local. Simple ingredients, big flavor.
Gentle on digestion. Balance protein, fiber, healthy fats, herbs.
Calm kitchen flow. Smart prep, zero-waste mindset.
Meals as ritual. Long tables, good olive oil, easy conversation.
Meet Sanja, our resident retreat chef.
With a pharmacist’s grounding and an alchemist’s curiosity, Sanja turns simple, natural ingredients into dishes that comfort, energize, and support digestion. She loves sharing Ayurvedic insights and herbal know-how—so while you savor the food, you might also discover a soothing immortelle balm or a tea blend to take home. Sanja’s gentle, transformative energy shapes the whole retreat experience: generous tables, easy conversation, and that sense of being truly cared for.
“I love working with Tamara. We have a laugh, try new things, and adjust the menu to the group. The kitchen is connection and creativity—and guests are a blessing.”
Not luxury. Not minimalism. Just enough.
Clean sheets, ripe tomatoes, warm light, calm minds.

“Thank you Tamara for facilitating a beautiful retreat. Tamara was super helpful and responsive before my stay via email and there to assist during the retreat. The house was amazing, clean and beautiful, there was a cleaning crew daily and an amazing chef who prepared healthy meals. Croatia is a special place.
I swam in the clearest, bluest waters I've ever seen.
I found peace spending time in nature, which was abundant on the island. I was in awe with some of the most beautiful sunrises I've seen. I couldn't believe how beautiful everywhere smelled, because of the amount of rosemary and fragrant trees everywhere, even around the city. Heaven on earth. Grateful to meet some special people in this magical place 🙏.”

What others say about us
“A seamlessly incredible experience from start to finish. This was my first time doing any kind of retreat and I think I'm spoiled now as, according to others on the trip, this was indeed an exceptional retreat experience. The location, property, and amenities were exquisite, the food phenomenal, and the curriculum profound. Highly recommend.”

“Spending time exploring Croatia and practicing with an incredible group of people was amazing. The experience was incredibly supportive, well-organized, and joyful. The retreat struck the perfect balance between movement, rest, and exploration—it was such a beautiful way to get to know the area. Every day offered something special, from thoughtfully led yoga sessions to optional outings that helped us connect with the landscape and local culture. Tamara is a terrific host and organizer. Plus a big shout out to Chef Sonja - who created fresh, innovative, and nourishing meals throughout the retreat. Thanks, YogaHravatska”

FAQs
What kind of food do you serve on retreat?
1
Plant-forward, seasonal Mediterranean dishes: lots of vegetables, legumes, whole grains, good olive oil, fresh herbs, and light sweets. Plates are designed to feel satisfying but not heavy—so guests can move, rest, and smile through the day.
Can you handle dietary needs (vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free)?
2
Yes. We plan vegan/GF/dairy-light options from the start, not as a last-minute swap. Share guest notes at least 7 days before the retreat and we’ll tailor the menu calmly and creatively.
Where do you source ingredients?
3
Locally and seasonally whenever possible—market vegetables, regional grains/legumes, Dalmatian herbs, and Croatian extra-virgin olive oil. Fewer, better ingredients = clean flavor and less waste.
What does a typical retreat day look like for meals?
4
Usually brunch + dinner, with fruit/tea or a light bite between sessions. Think: a warm soup or frittata, big salad bowls, roasted veg + pulses, a comforting bake, and a simple dessert, smoothies and cupcakes. Everything scales well for groups and holds nicely on a buffet.
